Spätestens mit dem Rollout der ersten ERJ-170 gehört der brasilianische Hersteller zur ersten Liga der kommerziellen Luftfahrt. Die E-Jet-Familie wurde stetig verbessert und erweitert. Seit kurzem gibt es mit der E2-Familie eine gründlich modernisierte Version mit erheblich gesteigerter Wirtschaftlichkeit und höherer Reichweite. Embraer vermarktet die neue E2 als „Profit Hunter“ (Profit-Jäger) und schickt zwei Vorführflugzeuge mit jeweils eindrucksvoller Bemalung rund um die Welt auf Werbetour. Nach dem „TechLion“ (Art.-Nr. 571852) folgt jetzt die nicht minder beeindruckende „Golden Eagle“.
