Wiking VW Scirocco Special Edition, Black 1:87 The VW Scirocco is a three-door sports coupe from Volkswagen with 2+2 seating. The first and second generations were produced from spring 1974 to late summer 1992 and were both based on the VW Golf I platform. A third generation was launched in summer 2008 and was built until the 2017 model year.In October 1988, Volkswagen also introduced the Corrado. This model was originally planned in 1986 as the successor to the second-generation Scirocco. However, VW positioned the Corrado with the type designation 53i as a more technologically advanced and higher-quality sports coupe. Therefore, it was produced in parallel with the Scirocco II until its production ended in September 1992, and continued for some time afterward.
