Since 2007, we have been offering our beautiful pins/magnets featuring the individual construction sections and the most popular themes. Since this year, we no longer offer monthly pins/magnets, but instead a wide variety of different, especially popular and permanently up-to-date donation pins/magnets. At the beginning of each year, we make a forecast of how many we will sell during the year and divide the total by 12. Each month, an institution chosen by you then receives the same amount. This is much fairer. At the end of the year, we check whether there is a surplus or a deficit and take this into account the following year.
The proceeds in the amount of €10.000.00 go to:
Kinderkrebszentrum Hamburg e.V.
The
Fördergemeinschaft Kinderkrebs-Zentrum Hamburg e.V. supports the
Children’s Cancer Center at the University Medical Center Hamburg-Eppendorf. Around 600 children are treated here on an inpatient and outpatient basis at all times. Our goal is to create the spatial, material, and personnel conditions necessary for the best possible patient care, to promote scientific research and the exchange of experience regarding the causes and treatment of childhood cancer, and to support parents who fall into financial hardship due to their child’s cancer diagnosis.
