The Lamborghini Aventador is a super sports car produced by Lamborghini. It was presented in March 2011 at the Geneva Motor Show and succeeded the Lamborghini Murciélago. Even before the first vehicles were delivered, buyers already had to expect a waiting time of about one year.

After 15 units of the limited Lamborghini Aventador LP 780-4 Ultimae were destroyed in early 2022 during the fire and sinking of the cargo ship Felicity Ace, Lamborghini decided to briefly resume production despite the official end of the model series. In total, 11,465 Aventador vehicles were built. Its successor, the Lamborghini Revuelto, was introduced in March 2023.
