Her family is in a constant state of alertness: Every seizure must get attended to. There’s no medication available for Sibel‘s condition. A normal daily routine is impossible, as she is boundto the wheelchair. A specifically trained service dog could offer Sibel and her family a certain sense of safety: It can sense oncoming seizures, give warnings for fast help and to motivate Sibel to talk and move. The renowned dog center WZ Hundezentrum has confirmed the dog’s service training, but this opportunity could fail for lack of financial assets.
