The Boeing 737, produced by the U.S. manufacturer Boeing, is one of the two most widely built families of jet-powered commercial aircraft worldwide. Designed as a narrow-body aircraft, it is now manufactured in its third and fourth generations in parallel, with its external appearance having changed only slightly over time. Originally developed as a compact short-haul aircraft, today’s 737NG (Next Generation) and 737 MAX variants form a medium-haul family for commercial passenger operations. The range extends from the 737-700, seating around 125 passengers, to the 737-900ER (Extended Range) with a capacity of up to 220 passengers. Certain versions are also capable of operating long-haul routes.
