The Curtiss JN-4 “Jenny” is a biplane developed shortly before the First World War by American designer Glenn Curtiss. During the war, it was primarily used as a training aircraft. Despite lacking outstanding technical innovations, it was the first aircraft to be mass-produced in large numbers in the United States.
