The BAC 1-11 is a twin-engine passenger aircraft manufactured by the British Aircraft Corporation. Designed as a low-wing aircraft with a T-tail configuration, it features two engines mounted at the rear fuselage. It was developed as a jet-powered successor to the Vickers Viscount turboprop airliner. The last remaining aircraft still in service was retired in May 2019.
