Herpa 536981 Eurowings Airbus A320 "BVB Fanairbus" D-AEWM 1:500Eurowings has been a partner of Borussia Dortmund since the 2016/17 football season. With the BVB Fanairbus, Eurowings became the first airline worldwide to dedicate its own aircraft to football fans: The Airbus A320 registered as D-AEWM flies in a black-and-yellow special livery as an ambassador for top-level football and fan culture within the European route network of Eurowings – preferably departing from Dortmund, the home base of the BVB Fanairbus. BVB fans were actively involved in the aircraft’s design in advance. They were able to help decide which of the most popular moments and stars in BVB history would be immortalized on the aircraft. After a vote by more than 10,000 Borussia supporters, the winning motifs were chosen. Painting the Airbus proved to be a highly demanding challenge, as the illustrations of the nine most legendary BVB moments had to be designed in such a way that football fans could instantly recognize the players and iconic scenes. The concept was realized and staged in the drawing style of the football artists “Hands of God.” In collaboration with the artists of “Hands of God,” Eurowings, and Borussia Dortmund, Herpa offers the “Fanairbus” in no fewer than five versions: as a die-cast model in the scales 1:500 (item no. 536981) and 1:400 (item no. 562829), as a highly detailed finished model in 1:200 (item no. 572750), and as part of the popular Snap-Fit series also in 1:200 (item no. 613927) and, as the largest version, even in 1:100 (item no. 613934). Herpa 562829 Eurowings Airbus A320 "BVB Fanairbus" – D-AEWM 1:400

Herpa 562829 Eurowings Airbus A320 "BVB Fanairbus" – D-AEWM 1:400Eurowings has been a partner of Borussia Dortmund since the 2016/17 football season. With the BVB Fanairbus, Eurowings became the first airline worldwide to dedicate an aircraft to football fans: The Airbus A320, registered as D-AEWM, flies in a black and yellow special livery as an ambassador for top-level football and fan culture within Eurowings’ European route network – primarily operating from Dortmund, the home base of the BVB Fanairbus.BVB fans were actively involved in the aircraft’s design process. They were able to help decide which of the most popular moments and stars in BVB history should be featured on the aircraft. After a vote involving more than 10,000 Borussia fans, the winning motifs were selected. Painting the Airbus presented a highly demanding challenge, as the illustrations of the nine most legendary BVB moments had to be designed in a way that allows football fans to instantly recognize players and iconic scenes. The artwork was created and staged in the signature drawing style of the football artists “Hands of God”.In cooperation with the artists of “Hands of God”, Eurowings and Borussia Dortmund, Herpa offers the “Fanairbus” in no fewer than five versions: as a die-cast model in 1:500 (item no. 536981) and 1:400 (item no. 562829), as a highly detailed pre-assembled model in 1:200 (item no. 572750), and as part of the popular Snap-Fit series also in 1:200 (item no. 613927) and, as the largest version, even in 1:100 (item no. 613934).Licensed by Eurowings Aviation GmbH.
