The BAC 1-11 is a twin-engine airliner manufactured by the British Aircraft Corporation. Designed as a low-wing aircraft with a T-tail, it features two jet engines mounted on either side of the rear fuselage. It was developed as a jet-powered successor to the turboprop Vickers Viscount. The last aircraft still in operation was retired from service in May 2019.
